A closer look at the Power Heat Pro heater
Power Heat Pro is a portable ceramic heater designed to warm the room you are actually using instead of the whole house. It combines a PTC ceramic heating element rated at 1800W with a quiet fan, and it can hang on a wall or sit on a flat surface such as a desk or countertop. The slim body is meant to fit above a bed or desk, which keeps it off the floor and out of the way.
At the heart of the unit is TurboWarm™ technology. The PTC ceramic plates start heating the moment the heater is switched on, so there is no waiting for exposed coils to glow red. A fan then pushes that warmth out across the room. Unlike a basic fan heater, the high-output ceramic element generates real warmth rather than just moving air.
The controls are straightforward. The TEMP button sets your target temperature within 16–40°C (61–104°F), and the MODE button cycles between Fan, Low Heat and High Heat. A digital display shows your settings, the adjustable thermostat holds the temperature you choose, and the heater works with a remote control. A timer can be set in 1-hour steps, after which the unit switches itself off.
Setup is meant to be simple. There is no installer, no ductwork and no outdoor unit: the heater hangs on the included bracket and plugs into a regular household outlet. When you mount it on the wall, leave at least 50 cm (20 in) of clearance from furniture and other objects. If you would rather move it between rooms, set it on a flat desk or countertop instead.
Power Heat Pro is designed for well-insulated spaces such as bedrooms, home offices, living areas, guest rooms and basements. Closing doors and windows helps the room hold its warmth. Like any room heater, it is intended to warm one space at a time and should not be left running unattended for extended periods.
